Spring ‘24 Recital

This was our 4th Spring Show. This show was exactly what a warm Spring day would sound like. We were blessed with perfect weather, clear blue skies and the sun shining bright. It felt like a real send off into Summer and the end of the school year fast approaching. As usual, I felt like my students picked perfect songs to compliment this day. I am always so blown away by the progress you can really hear at the end of each school year. Even in the few months between December and April, there is so much growth. Some of my favorites from this show were Naima (John Coltrane), Mas Que Nada (Sergio Mendes), At Last (Etta James), Misty (Erroll Garner), Minuet in G (Bach), and One Day My Prince Will Come (Frank Churchill). We also had the pleasure of hearing the vocals from one of our graduating seniors, Mimi Campbell with her rendition of Desperado (Linda Ronstadt).
