Winter ‘23 Recital
This was our very first Winter Recital. A few of my students approached me with the idea of adding in a second show each year to showcase holiday music. Of course, I thought this was a spectacular idea that would not only allow for beautiful Winter tunes, but would also be another opportunity to have the community come together. As a private teacher, I feel the most grateful when I get to see all my students together and thus everyone’s families in the same place. It is such a special experience. Some of my favorites from this show were Autumn in New York (Louis Armstrong), Skating in Central Park (Bill Evans), Waltz in B Minor (Chopin), Merry Go Round of Life (Joe Hisaishi), and Hungarian Rhapsody (Liszt).
