Winter ‘24 Recital

This was our 2nd Winter Show. This show was one of the coziest ones yet. This particular performance was full of traditional Christmas and holiday songs. My students really leaned into feeling all the joy of the Winter Season. I had the unique opportunity to work with two students for a duet performance (vocal and piano) of Bruno Mars’ song When I was Your Man. It was such a special experience to teach my students how to collaborate and communicate musically. Aden and Clara were very motivated and worked hard to perfect their portion of the show. Some other favorites of mine in this performance were Waltz in A Minor (Chopin), The Way You Look Tonight (Kern), Comptine D’un Autre Ete (Tierson), and Kiss of Life (Sade)
